Fender Premium Celluloid Picks - Heavy Reviews  4 / 5 based on 1 reviewsI bought this box of green picks at Lipham's Music in G'ville, FL, and paid $3.95 for a box of 12.
I like everything! For one thing, they give you 12 picks, so if you lose one you still have several! (this only works till you lose them all....) I like the color. I got green, but I didn't look to see if they had any other color. I do know that my friend let me use a blue Fender Heavy pick, so I am guessing they make several different colors.
I do not like how the picks' are slippery! After I play for a while the pick starts to slip out of my hand! The only solution is Gorilla Snot or a pick holder on your mic stand that has a couple more. I also don't like how they have the code tape stuff (for the scanners at stores or something) on the box. But it does help hold the plastic thingy closed after you take out a pick....
It is built well I guess. It's nice, and all of them appear the same. They don;t have rough edges! Some pick companies don't take off the rough edges after they make the picks, and those can get annoying!
I like them. I might want to buy some picks that have a grippy surfce next time, but these work fine! Mike rated this unit on 2002-10-18.
